Mission Statement:

The Theatre Guild supports the students and faculty of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Art’s Theatre Department in its various activities and helps them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Membership:

Effective with the 09-10 school year, the theatre guild implemented multiple membership levels in order to further support our hard-working students and faculty. Please consider the membership level that is most comfortable for you and your family.  We appreciate all members at any level.  The membership form is available to download by clicking here.  We are very close to becoming a nonprofit  with 501(c)(3) status. It has been filed with the State of Texas and should be completed by May 2010.

Guild Membership Levels:

Platinum, $500; Gold $250; Silver, $125; Bronze $50; Basic, $10; Student, $5

The Guild provides food and refreshments for students after school on dress rehearsal and performance days.  

All membership levels will receive email communications from the Guild throughout the year.

08-09 was the first year for the “Louise Smith” Scholarship funded by our guild.
 
All members are encouraged to attend the guild meetings where current information about the cluster is discussed.
